The Therapeutic Apheresis Unit performs a variety of procedures using apheresis. Examples of procedures and cases supported by the unit include: therapeutic plasma exchange, heart transplant, kidney transplant, lung transplant, hematologic disorders, neurologic disorders, oncologic disorders, red blood cell exchange, sickle cell anemia, malaria, photopheresis, CTCL (cutaneous T-cell lymphoma), GVHD, heart transplant rejection, lung transplant rejection, cellular therapy collection (hematopoietic stem cell harvest), collecting CD34, CD56 and dendritic cells, white cell depletion, leukemia, platelet depletion, hematologic disorders, cancer, LDL apheresis and hypercholesterolemia.
Beverly Building is located at 8720 Beverly Blvd. between George Burns Road and San Vicente Boulevard. Valet parking and limited ADA-accessible self-parking are available in the Beverly Building Parking lot, located on Beverly Boulevard between George Burns Road and San Vicente Boulevard. Additional self-parking is available in the North Tower and Spielberg Parking lots. Enter the building, take the Beverly Building elevators down to the Lower Level and find your destination.
