“Seems that money is her motivation and not actually helping people”
Contacted Ms Ervin to make sure she accepted my insurance and she said she did accept my insurance so I set an appointment. When I got to her office for my appointment she informed me that she did NOT accept my insurance. She said "Oh I don't take wellcare but we can still talk 'IF' you really feel you need it." I stayed but it was really awkward and uncomfortable. Approximately 5 minutes into the "session", she said "Well I'm gonna wrap it up. And I'm not denying you the whole hour because you're on WellCare, I just don't want you to hit traffic on your way home."
The entire experience was surreal and awkward and I felt worse after I left her office! Not sure why she lied to me about accepting my insurance. I definitely got the feeling that money is more important to her than helping people. I am the type of person who gets along with everyone I meet but my interaction with her was very awkward and frankly embarrassing.
