The Beaufort Memorial Breast Health Center specializes in diagnostic breast imaging and treatment of breast conditions. The center is fully accredited by the American College of Radiology and the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and offers:
- 3D mammography (breast tomosynthesis) services with same-day results
- Automated breast ultrasound screening, which offers women with dense breasts greater details in breast cancer screenings
- Diagnostic breast biopsy, MRI and ultrasound
- A full range of breast surgeries
- DEXA bone density screening to detect osteoporosis
- Certified Imaging and Breast Cancer Navigators who provide support if you need additional diagnostics or are diagnosed with breast cancer
The NAPBC accredited Breast Care Program at Beaufort Memorial offers resources and treatments for all breast disease and breast cancer including breast surgery, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and clinical trials.
