I highly recommend him if you are having any ankle or foot problems, I had two prior surgeries on my ankle with another doctor, I went to Dr. Mahmoud because I was still having issues with my ankle he performed surgery and fixed all the issues I was having. He is very informative and cares about his patients, he takes his time to discuss your issues and his medical recommendation.

Dr. Swim was absolutely amazing. She listened to me, understood, asked in depth questions, and most important gave me hope and answers. I am so grateful to have been referred to Dr. Swim, I walked out of her office with relief, despite the pain I’m experiencing. She made me feel like she really understood which I cannot describe how much that means to me. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical at first, but after meeting with Dr. Swim I cannot say enough great things and am so thankful for the relief and peace of mind she gave me. I have been to Augusta and Aiken sports and medicine twice. Once for my finger now for my knee. The Doctors are the best. Not like other doctors wanting to cut on you or take your money. The doctors here explain everything to your understanding and give you options. Each visit was a great experience for me. Very friendly staff.

I’ve had 3 surgeries with Dr. Thigpen over a 10 year period including both bunions and an OCD lesion repair to my ankle. All of my recoveries went well. He make very tidy incisions that heal so beautifully. My broken ankle was a bit of a mess but he cleaned it up and it’s pain free. He's a popular guy so you may a wait but it’s worth it. All of the support staff in his office are friendly and knowledgable.
