I highly recommend Dr. Masters!! The newest and young doctor that I saw for some cataract and corneal problems. He was new and I had never been to him before. He said I needed surgery, and I had become almost toatally blind in one eye. He told me it would not be like normal cataract surgery because he had to remove the old lens and replace it. He said it would take much more time to heal. At my age (almost 90) . I thought “This is it””. But miraculously, it began to get better !

Working with Asheville Eye Associates and Dr. Masters was a great experience. I would be lying if I said that I wasn't nervous before I had my EVO ICL surgery, especially when it was mentioned that I would be one of the first ones that Asheville Eye has ever done; however, the staff and Dr. Masters were great to work with and quickly alleviated my worries. I went from not being able to function throughout the day if something happened to my glasses or contacts, to being able to wake up in the morning and go about my day without the burden of glasses or contacts. I no longer have to worry about what will happen throughout the day if my glasses were to break or a contact lens was ripped. I would go through with the surgery again in a heartbeat.

Dr Tullock is a good choice. She is thorough and kind. Her office is big and a bit overwhelming. They make you pay before you even see her. Then they have you wait in a HUGE intimidating waiting room. But Sarah E. took me to the exam room and she is the kindest, sweetest, warmest health care provider. A+ for Sarah E. Dr Tullock came and was also very kind and gave me as much time as I needed. I've had a lot of eye problems and seen many many eye doctors. I will definitely come back to see Dr Tullock.

My review has nothing to do with Dr. Turlock she was great, her assistant however gave the worst experience I have ever had at any dr. Appointment in my life, so much so I will be finding somewhere else for future business. She was rude and short with me the entire time and treated me like a child and it really left a bad taste in my mouth.

I had formally went to another eye doctor in the area, and with three visits (no solution with the soreness) I decided to go here. So thankful I did, I ended up having an object in my eye causing the problem for the last two months. Within 20 minutes I was heading home and feeling better. I experienced a torn retina one evening, and was seen by Dr Stone the next morning and in surgery that same afternoon. I have nothing but praise for the way he and the staff cared for me. As sometimes happens, I developed macular wrinkling after the surgery, so some months later Dr Stone did a macular peel to remove the scar tissue. This is a very meticulous surgery. I've never written reviews before, but I want people to know they can trust Dr Stone's skill and care for the patient.

I first saw Cameron Stone a few years ago for an unusual condition that cropped up in my eye - a veil appeared to be covering my right eye and only when I closed my left did I notice it. He saw me for almost a year with monthly visits as he evaluated its condition. He was right when he said it wasn't macular degeneration. It cleared up after ceasing the use of a nasal steroid my PCP had me on. Since then, he's seen my Mom for Macular Degeneration and his attentiveness and caring demeanor ..

I first saw Dr. Stone at his temp office in Boone (Western Carolina Eye) where he diagnosed me with "scar tissue brought on by gray hair." In Jan. 2024 he performed surgery (vitrectomy) to remove the scar tissue and replace it with a bubble that has dissolved. It will be months before we see if my vision improves -which he told me in advance. Dr. Stone explains things and takes time with you and is friendly (he called me "buddy"). I will go back to him if I need help with my other eye.

Unfortunately, I have been in a situation where I have required multiple eye surgeries and care the last few years, including both retinal and corneal procedures. Fortunately, I was referred to Dr Masters by my retinal specialist, Dr Komanski. Dr Masters replaced a damaged IOL in my right eye, and has performed a DALK cornea transplant in my left required due to an unrelated infection. Excellent attention, explanations, and understanding when I sought second opinion. Highly recommend.

I had a very sudden change in my vision last week. I have wet macular degeneration (AMD)in my left eye and dry AMD in my right eye. When my vision deteriorated so quickly, I feared that my right eye was converting to wet. I called in a panic on Monday morning and Dr. Tulluck and her staff immediately worked me into what was probably a really busy schedule. She did a very thorough exam and assured me that my AMD had not advanced. Her care put me at ease and allayed my fears.

Dr. Stone is a brilliant doctor, but acts like he's in such a rush and is not a listener. I was a US Navy Hospital corpsman and worked with eye exams and other issues for years and it would be kinda' nice to talk "shop" just a little with him. He might spend 5 minutes at best with me. I've heard this same complaint from several neighbors who are his patients. I realize he's very busy, but perhaps you should not try to book so many patients and allow a little time for doctor/patient interaction

We were visiting the area from out of state when my husband began experiencing vision disturbances. We knew it was serious and were referred to Asheville eye associates. Dr.Bridges met with us first and he was informative and reassuring. His sense of urgency was appreciated and soon we were meeting Dr. Stone for surgery the same day. Dr. Stone was amazing! He explained everything in detail while also expertly completing a successful procedure in a short time. We are so thankful!
