“Don't use needs more education regarding abuse and addictions.”
She is not experienced in dealing with people with addictions or domestic violence situations. Her bio on healing grace counseling is deceptive in her experience in dealing with abuse. Shortly after her involvement in my families situation she minimized a saftey plan to my abuser and things got worse the only good that came if that is I finally had the courage to call law enforcement. Any one who has experience with these situations knows how hard and dangerous it can be to speak up about abuse and that an addict and abuser will lie and manipulate and only share minimal information. She also should be aware that as a professional she should recommend out when she doesn't have knowledge of how to properly deal. Stating she has experience in these areas is far from the truth working somewhere for s short period of time to add to a resume doesn't mean experience. If addiction or abuse is your situation do not use her maybe if you have your basic marriage and family conflict beyond that absolutely do not use her of healing grace counseling, it's far left grace teaching to "believe the best in people" and as Christians sin as abuse and addiction that leads to abuse should be called out and not using kid gloves when dealing with an abuser that has hit his wife and children and done severe destruction to property and traumatized also she should have referred my abuser to male counselor she was also clueless to the safety boundaries in the situations it was out together by actual professionals in the field of addiction and domestic violence so a huge red flag went up for me when she minimized it she also doesn't use solid biblical truth when dealing with the matters too much in the tasks grace teaching and in these cases can be very dangerous to the victims. Do not use her she has no true experience with people with addiction or when abuse is involved she needs to seek further education and training before counseling on these matters or adding it to her bios.
