Summary

Dr Voloshin is board certified in foot surgery by American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He treats foot and ankle conditions in people of all ages including infants. He accepts most insurance plans including workers compensation and no fault. Mario Voloshin, DPM, FABFAS is a Board Certified Foot Surgeon who graduated from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He went on to complete one of the very few four-year Podiatric surgical residencies in the country at New York Hospital Queens, a member of the New York-Presbyterian Healthcare System and affiliate of the Weill Medical College of Cornell University. He acquired his surgical skills through extensive training with a wide array of Podiatric and Foot & Ankle Orthopedic surgeons. In his final year of residency, Dr. Voloshin served as Chief resident, and continued to hone his surgical skills, specifically in the areas of sports medicine and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery.

In addition to providing podiatric expertise to his patients, he works very closely with other medical specialties to prevent further complications that develop in patients suffering from diabetes, immunosuppressive illnesses, neurological manifestations, and various forms of arthritis. Dr. Voloshin was appointed to teaching staff at both New York Presbyterian / Queens and Wyckoff Hospitals, where he spends his time teaching podiatric surgery to residents. He serves as a consultant to various surgical companies, which entails giving lectures to other physicians and research.

Wonderful and caring doctor

I visited Dr. Voloshin because of fractured foot. After my terrible experience in the Emergency Room I needed to see a normal doctor to be sure I am going to be all right. I am so glad I got an appointment with this doctor. He is knowledgeable and caring, he answers all you questions and concerns. Staff is very helpful too.
