I was terrified when I was diagnosed with diabetes. I went in to see Dr. Weschler. She eased my fears, listened to me without judgement and helped me set goals. When I had to stop seeing her I cried. I felt empowered by her. She helped me see that this disease was manageable. I viewed her as a friend who saved my life. She is a true blessing.
