A native New Yorker, David Schwartz earned his degree in opticianry and practiced in New York. In 1979, David moved to California with sights on creating an exclusive optical boutique. His vision became reality when 20/20 Optical opened its doors in San Rafael and shortly thereafter a second location in Novato.
Three and a half decades later, David prides himself on staying current- from “what’s new” in trending frames, to the latest in lens technology, to a state-of-the-art on-site laboratory. With David at the helm, 20/20 Optical employs several licensed opticians with extensive knowledge and convivial personalities eager to make every customer’s experience memorable.
