“She saved my life”
I was in for my 2 week postpartum appointment after my fourth baby. For 2 weeks I had felt awful and had even visited the ER during that time and they told me I was just “off my antidepressants.” At my appointment Dr. Anyekase listened to me and told me she was concerned I had retained placenta because my pregnancy test. She sent me to the ER, in surgery later that night to have it removed I lost a liter of blood. If I had lost that placenta at home I would have bled out.she saved me.
