I don't understand what we talked about at all. I was unaware that she was forcing me to have a Myocardial Perfusion Imaging test done because I will be getting a knee replacement next month. She informed me in the office that everything was good, including my blood pressure, EKG, and results from echo test I had. She then inquired as to whether I had ever had a stress test in which my heart was photographed, to which I replied, "Yes, years ago." Since, I haven't had a stress test at Methodist, she suggested that we perform a stress test there. I couldn't afford both surgeries when I checked downstairs to see the total cost. We should have taken the stress test rather than the echo test when I first arrived at their clinic a few years back. Now, I can not they are not willing sign off on my paperwork to have my knee replace unless I complete the stress.
