“Kind and caring”
I was a patient of Dr. Welch for 4 years with weekly sessions before I sadly had to move away. Dr. Welch was wonderful in helping me cope with my many issues, including chronic depression, anxiety, phobias, and more. She always listened well, and was very empathetic and kind. I could tell she really cared about me and wanted to help as much as she could. I was going through a very hard time in my life, and my appointments with her made things bearable when I was otherwise very overwhelmed.
I had to schedule at least a few weeks ahead to get the later time slot I needed, but that was no issue. I love that she had later hours, as that worked best for me. I'd schedule 6 months out at a time so I'd have them all set up, and if I forgot to schedule more she would have earlier appointments available, and she also noted that if I ever needed to get in urgently to just let her know and she could stay late to see me.
I only remember having to wait at all less than 5 times, typically I would come in and would be able to walk right in to her office on time. She was always very understanding if I had to cancel or if I was late, as I have many chronic physical health issues.
All in all, I was very happy that I had her, and would recommend her to others.
