“My visit was recommended by my p...”

My visit was recommended by my primary doctor only to benchmark my heart health. I did not have any symptoms or issues to warrant the visit. Just routine because I'm 70. I was unfamiliar with any of the doctors so I went with my doctor's reco. With that it's hard to compare physicians for recommendations to others. I was also unfamiliar with suggested procedures and the doctor was helpful with that. I try to take good care of my health. My weight is low, I see a nutritionist several times a year for 15 years, eat healthy, I walk a couple miles every day, my HDL and LDL etc are at good levels, I get body composition results 2x a year, don't smoke or drink and take all recommended meds. I still may have issues after all heart tests are done but I would have appreciated a little positive feedback about everything I am doing to try to prevent issues. My family history has longevity and I try to honor that by doing the best I can. Just hearing a little positivity is helpful. I understand there are no promises or guarantees but recognition for efforts is nice.

I didn't feel rushed or she had her hand on the door ready to leave. Dr. M always is concerned about me and I so appreciate that. She is very knowledgeable in her field and she truly cares about me!
