Dr. reviewed my evaluation and does not recommend fixing my lumbar stenosis. I forgot to ask about consequences of not having the surgical procedure done (spinal cord pinched off causing paralysis.) Doctor forgot, too. Now I must follow up via My Chart, not a good medium for this type of conversation.

Both of the providers I saw (intern or fellow maybe before the Dr I was scheduled with) were professional, personable and very very clear about my situation and the treatment plan options. I felt they were both extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and attentive and provided an excellent roadmap for my continued care with escalating options for care from quite conservative to more intervention.

Diagnosis was I would be walking without a walker in three months. Exercises provided. Very positive news. Just keep doing what I had been doing. Not much debate about that surprisingly favorably diagnosis.
