I am a surgeon as well, but I do not rate Dr. Cole from this viewpoint - in this setting, I am her patient, not a colleague. As a patient, I so appreciate that Dr. Cole tells me complete details in medical language I understand. Also, she is one of my most caring treating physicians, and I give her and the staff high marks in this regard. In this encounter, Dr. Cole and I revisited her preop discussion, and I felt very encouraged by her accurate description of the rationale and the expectations of surgery.

“My concerns for my ear issues we...”

My concerns for my ear issues were dismissed and ignored as soon as the doc came in the room. She had not answers to why I was experiencing discomfort. Only blamed me or blamed other issues. Also dismissed my doctors checking of my ear fluid prior to the appointment. This doc also called my previous doc for saying I had hearing loss when "I clearly didn't"
