Personable, professional, engaging, probing. Put me at ease, which might have been obvious that I wasn't exactly comfortable' in the cancer clinic. Had looked at my referral, my previous labs, Dr notes and was focused on me. Asked me some general and probing questions and formulated a plan. Opened with calming my fears by saying nothing he sees has him concerned with cancer, but that he was ordering a lot of labs (later set a PR with 14 vials of blood) and cautioned me not to read the results until we meet up again. Went over the directions he thought most likely and even where to go next if all the labs don't point towards where to go. Left there impressed and looking forward to our next visit-a path to whatever the problem(s) might be, and focusing on solutions. Seems like all health care should be just like this.
