Dr. Wilson was absolutely fabulous in so many ways, especially in caring for a woman. She was literate, explained things well, and recommended preventive care. She was flexible as to her recommendations, catering them to my needs. She accepted without questions many of my chronic conditions. I came in as a new patient with a number of chronic conditions that had been previously diagnosed, and I had medication protocols for some of them that had been in place for decades. I was disappointed that she questioned one of these protocols and said she was not comfortable prescribing it if I should need her to temporarily make sure I had access to these life-maintaining medications (in the case of a specialist, who currently prescribes it, leaving practice or retiring). I do understand her point of view but would have hoped for this request to be honored.
