Sarah was excellent! She was friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. She noted the change in blood pressure numbers right away and asked questions to get at what might be causing it. I mentioned not having breakfast yet and not drinking my usual amount of water. She instructed me to eat and drink after the appointment and to let them know immediately if I felt light-headed or dizzy later in the day. After the appointment I did as she suggested and did not experience any symptoms of low blood pressure after. She then turned to the presenting problem, acute sinusitis, which had continued worsening from my recent visit to the urgent care center. While examining me, she noticed tightening in my upper lung airways, instructed me to use my Albuterol inhaler immediately when I got home and prescribed 10 days of Augmentin to begin to address the bacterial infection that had gotten strongly settled into my sinuses. While the sinusitis has not fully cleared, it was Improved enough two days later to be able to travel without problems. I continue to heal, and my sinuses are gradually repairing.Sarah listened closely, asked thoughtful questions, recognized the need to address things quickly - especially since I was scheduled to leave the country just two days later - and called in the necessary antibiotic I needed so I had it within an hour of leaving the appointment. I am grateful that PAs like Sarah serve the clinic.
