I think Dr. Rasier seems very knowledgeable and I appreciated a new lens for looking at my symptoms than other doctors I have seen. I think my appointment felt a bit rushed, given she was 30 minutes late and left before 10am. I don't think she reviewed my records ahead of time, but I am unsure of that. I hope she is right about what might be causing my right leg/foot pain and I will be getting an MRI and following up with her. She was kind in saying that 8 years is too long for me to be in pain and I agree with her. I have been to many doctors in Charlottesville and multiple PTs and none have ever said it could be my lumbar spine.

“Much better visit this time. Dr....”

Much better visit this time. Dr. Raiser does think/ talk faster than it takes me to process the information but I liked having her 1:1 and appreciate her time and explanations for things. I would like to continue to learn as much as I can from her about my condition.

“Dr. Raiser is a fantastic doctor...”

Dr. Raiser is a fantastic doctor -- very clear explanations. Very thorough exam of my areas of pain. Based on her careful examination, she recommended an MRI. Which is very helpful to better understand why the pain and swelling persists for many weeks.

“I really liked the doctor a lot....”

I really liked the doctor a lot. She took a good amount of time with me and listened to and addressed all my questions. I wished I had taken notes! (she did type up a lot of them.) The only part I was a little confused about was the follow-up. I understood about going to PT. There was a question of an MRI but I had to ask the nurse to get some clarification about that and I'm still a little uncertain.
