“This is the only provider in thi...”
This is the only provider in this practice that I've seen in my entire pregnancy (and I'm full term, so we've seen a handful!) where I was really disappointed with the care discussion/experience/bedside manner. The provider was nice, but really overwhelming. She was fast-paced and bubbly, which is fine, but it came off to me rushed and high tension. She never asked about how I was feeling at 39 weeks pregnant, and just dragged up a stool and talked at me for the whole visit. I've never had another appointment anything like this one! There was no mention of my particular case, I have no idea if she looked at my charts. She just told me about what I needed to know going into labor soon (helpful info...but not delivered well). I was trying not to be rude, but her style was more stressful than calming, and frankly I didn't even ask her about some of my questions. I just wanted to get out of there and keep my questions for next week with the midwife.
