“It's hard to put into words ...”
It's hard to put into words how grateful I am to have Dr. Strongwater as a doctor. I had a general physician who was also wonderful and retired about 10 years ago. My husband advised I should see his doctor. He is the ONLY doctor who looks at my health holistically. What do I mean. He asks and evaluates all the tests I've had done: breathing, CT scans etc. The other doctors do not do this so they evaluate me as if I only have one organ or whatever the specialty is, and still then, only do the tests they want to do rather than truly listening to the patient. He is also the only doctor who knows how to assess a patient's lungs. He knew before a pulmonologist did that my breathing was labored. And even the pulmonologist I went to didn't show the thoroughness Dr. Strongwater does. He makes me feel as if someone actually cares. He should train the other doctors on how to look at the "whole" person. He is a true diagnostician --if you come to see him, he will inquire what you symptoms are and then look at the data. He is accessible and follows through; the nurse always contact me with results. If I have questions, he answers them. Believe it or not, many doctors do not. It's a sad state now in the medical field as the newer doctors may have advanced technical skills, but there is a lack of patient care and follow-up. He had taken the time to see me as he always had, unwavering in his commitment to me as a patient. What else can I say, except I hope his doctors treat him with the same care he gives his patients.
