“I feel so lucky to be under the ...”
I feel so lucky to be under the care of Dr. Cheruvattath. When I had my new patient exam last year she was very attentive and empathetic to my fear. I have a family history of esophageal cancer and I was sure that my appointment with her was going to be the first step in a very dark road. She figuratively held my hand and matter-of-factly told me that we would address anything that came our way. To continue the metaphor, it felt like a trail guide was next to me holding a flashlight. We've taken some steps together, introduced omeprazole, changed some food choices, etc. This last visit was an upper ending to check in my EOE, and guess whatnormal esophagus! The first person I saw when I woke from the anesthesia was Dr Cheruvattath with a big smile on her face saying "It looks so much better!" She was so happy and it wasn't even her health! I completely trust Dr Cheruvattath and would recommend her to anyone!
