I recently switched health care providers from a provider to Henry Ford. My PCP recommended I see an endocrinologist about my main health concern. I was not able to see a provider for this medical reason closer to home until mid-March, so I went on the My Chart app and found Dr. Simon. After looking into her credentials, areas of expertise, and customer reviews, I scheduled an appointment with her and to my surprise and delight, was able to see her within the same week I began looking. I had recently completed lab testing relevant to the visit and the results came available the day before our scheduled appointment. I reached out to Dr. Simon through My Chart and she answered my question (before I had ever even seen her by the way) within a couple hours. Which was a fantastic response time compared to what I am used to with other providers. When my appointment time arrived, I checked in through the kiosk, and I no sooner walked to a chair to be seated when I was called back to begin my visit. The nurse assistant who took my vitals was awesome. She was considerate of my health conditions, kind and courteous during our interactions, and conducted herself with the utmost professionalism. Once my vitals were taken, she excused herself and within a minute or two, Dr. Simon had made her way to my room to begin our visit. I found my interaction with Dr. Simon to be quite the same as with the nurse assistant. I had plenty of questions and Dr. Simon clearly answered them to my satisfaction. Additionally, she talked me through my treatment options, set realistic goals, and worked with me to create a treatment plan that we were both comfortable with. I left feeling confident in my treatment plan, confident in my new providers ability to assist me with my health condition, and like I have finally found a provider who cares and is willing to ask questions about my health and, more importantly, actually listen to what I have to share about my health.

Dr Simon was very courteous, concerned and thorough during my visit. She made me feel comfortable and had concern for my health and well being in reviewing my chart and making adjustments to my plan of care.
