99% of my dealings re my valve-replacement was with Jasminka Stegic (NP) , Dr. Makkar's associate, and she was terrific - thanks.My only suggestion would be that Dr. Makkar visit with the patient at least once before the procedure ! He finally did the night after the procedure and only after I mentioned in the operating room : " Is there really a Dr. Makkar ?" Funny: When he finally showed-up it was with most of his team which was very calming for me !

“Anesthesiologist was excellent. ...”

Anesthesiologist was excellent. He was really concerned about my care and noticed that medication could've interfered with my procedure. So procedure was postponed and I appreciated that.
