“Great Conservative orthopedic surgeon”

I was afraid I was going to need a hip replacement, pain was getting harder to deal with. He did a complete workup and exam, and diagnosed no arthritis, but a joint femoroacetabular Impingement, Cam type. His recommendations went: continue stretching, if that fails to limit the pain physical therapy, if the pain continues arthroscopic shaving of the cam. Just the approach I appreciate: conservative treatment, or PT, last on the list arthopedic surgery.
