It has been challenging to get through on the portal. I was very sick, and two weeks later the first message said sorry, we can't help. A couple of weeks later meds were sent. There is a breakdown on the portal communicating with the doctors.

I love Dr Maldonado. I've referred lots of my friends to her. However, getting in to see her when needed is virtually impossible. My wait time to get in to see her for my annual exam was 4 months. That is ridiculous. At least one of my friends who'd been seeing her has found another PCP bc of how impossible it is to get in to see her. My appt was scheduled for 8 am so I figured I was one of her first patients of the day. She didn't come into the exam room until at least 30 mins after my scheduled appt. I'm a physician myself so intentionally scheduled an am appt so I could get back to work. I wasn't fully done w my appt until 9:30 am. The scheduling difficulties and time wasted waiting to be seen by her are reasons I may need to look elsewhere for more timely care overall despite the fact that I absolutely love Dr Maldonado.

No rx called in for yellow mucus I was coughing up for 3 weeks. I went through hell and high water in trying to communicate this. I asked the nurse before I left if something was going to be called in. He said yes. I called and left several messages. Front desk lady called me back to verify what I had left on the message. 4 to 5 days later the nurse called and said a cough medicine would be called in. 5 days later, pharmacy reached out and stated rx was ordered. Two days delayed more. I could have ended up with pneumonia or in the hospital. I won't be back.
