I do not take insurance because I believe psychiatric care should be shaped by the patient-provider relationship, not by outside systems. My practice is built around personalized, relational membership care that allows for time, depth, and flexibility. For some patients, this ends up costing no more than traditional insurance-based care after copays, deductibles, and non-covered services.
