Dr. Molly Powers performed MOHS surgery to remove two carcinoma from my nose. She, the resident she was working with, and the attending nurses were all very professional, but still courteous. They explained the procedure well and performed the required safety "time out" to verify what they were going to do. They were all attentive to any possible discomfort -- which was minimal -- and while they might not have laughed, they did smile politely at my nose and scalpel jokes, which certainly helped put me at ease! Before I left, the nurse (whose name I should remember) gave me very good instructions for followup care and provided a few dressings and petroleum jelly to get me me started. The wounds are healing well -- so all is good.
