I have severe osteoarthritis in my neck and back and needed a second consult for poss. surgery. Dr. Copeland did a great job of educating me as to the tradeoffs and that although my arthritis was severe, a surgery may not be the best thing. He recommended trying epidurals which no one else had up to that point. The neck epidural was a really turning point for the better for me.
