I trust his clinical judgment completely and he is thorough and comprehensive (as well as an honest and generally great man). The cleanings I get at this office are amazing as well. I selfishly hope he never retires, I don't know how I could ever replace Dr. Scafa.

I lost parts of two teeth when I tripped on the Yankee Stadium security line on Labor Day weekend and was in need of urgent dental assistance. I called Dr. Scaffa's office at 9 am the next business day and he accomodated me on no-notice and performed work on me immediately. Everyone at the office is very nice and kind. Whenever I come here I love that I feel comfortable talking to everyone. From the people at the front desk to Dr. Scaffa himself, I always feel a warm welcome when I come by for my checkups. Now in the summer that it is hot out, the air conditioning in here is wonderful. Additionally, the television in the waiting room along with the chairs are great to have. Overall, its a great experience coming here and I never dread coming in to get my teeth cleaned!

Maria, his dental hygienist, is the most talented person to ever have to work on my teeth. I needed a scaling, which was pretty involved. Because of my own neglect, she had a lot of work to do. Not a wince of pain. I kept thinking its coming any minute, but nope, no pain, and my mouth feels a world different then it did before I came in. Maria has some serious talent. Shes put me at ease. The idea of going to the dentist isnt so stressful anymore!

She walked me around the office showing me all of the cool new gadgets the office uses to keep your teeth looking great. I was not used to this process, but now that I'm thinking about it, it was really nice and welcoming. When the hygienist started cleaning my teeth she was very informative. Her head is FULL of dental knowledge and she love's to share it. I've been going to the dentist for 30 years and have learned more in this short visit than all other dental visits combined! She explained what everything was that she was using and doing to my teeth, as well as shared some good practices for keeping my teeth clean and healthy. She is also very friendly, we talked about everything from the weather to coffee places. I felt really comfortable. When it was time to see Dr. Scaffa he greeted me with a smile and a handshake. He seems very friendly, and down to Earth which is important to me. He also took the time to explain the tools he would be using on me. I am very satisfied with the treatment I received at the office!! The music they play is great too.. something you can tap your feet to while enjoying your dentist experience!!

I have been an RN for 27 years, and the one thing I tell my patients in choosing a doctor or surgeon is that most often things go as planned, no complications......you want the doctor you can get in the rare event things don't go as expected. Dr. Scaffa is this doctor. They are available for emergencies, and even once I called after hours and Dr. Scaffa himself picked up the phone.....no apology needed from my end! I and my entire family have been a regular patient for many years, and we love this office. Collin is our hygienist and there are not enough words to describe her meticulous care, kindness and sensitivity. About a year and a half ago, I decided to start cosmetic work on my teeth.....what can I say, maybe I am a bit picky, but Dr. Scaffa never batted an eye, and did not rest until the treatment was to my satisfaction. I would recommend this office to anyone who wants top notch care, in a professional as well as friendly environment.
