Insurance contracts generally prohibit professionals from offering sliding-fee scale options to those who may not have access to insurance. Contracts also limit or define the frequency and duration of policy holder's treatment, and may require professionals to diagnose policy holder with a mental illness prior to reimbursement. SoCo Counseling does not work with any insurance companies so that we may work with clients as needed, and at an affordable rate. Professionals will provide receipt for client insurance reimbursement, if policy allows.
