Dr. Kopyrina inquired about the current status of my general physical health - HBP, underactive thyroid, arthritis, use of CPCP for diagnosed sleep apnea, regular use of hearing aids, etc. We immediately discussed the high blood pressure reading recorded in the office that morning (I have 'white coat' syndrome and readings in most medical setting are extremely high). She outlined necessary follow up to include recording and communication of my daily blood pressure readings at home for 2 consecutive weeks thru My Chart and ordered an echogram for a suspected heart murmur.Prescriptions were renewed, labs were ordered and referrals were provided for additional screening and testing.
