I was very glad that the doctor was willing to do the breast surgery at the UVA-CULPEPER HOSPITAL which is much closer to my home than Charlottesville.

I limed Dr Dengel and her proposed surgery but we ran out of time. She gave me studies to read which were great and recommended scheduling another appointment if I have further questions. I have been trying to do this but have been directed to use mychart to get my questions answered. I may do this but it's not the same as an in person discussion. It is hard to believe that a new patient appointment for cancer surgery would be 30 minutes. All my other appointments have been 1 hour. I do want to reiterate that Dr Dengel herself was wonderful and knowledgable. It's to rished timing and difficulty to get back in and finish discussing the surgery that may make me go with a different provider.
