“I'm experiencing extreme pain in...”

I'm experiencing extreme pain in my right hand due to arthritis pain. My hand surgeon confirmed that's what's going on. Dr Pham seemed to want to attribute my pain to stress, poor diet and lack of sleep after asking me some basic questions.I have a family member that I'm caring for who just had a major surgery that is definitely affecting life at the moment. However, I can't see that's causing this incredible pain.He suggested getting off a couple of the meds I've been taking and starting on Gabapentin.I have chronic kidney disease stage 3 and it didn't seem like he was too concerned with that.
