It is important to get regular check-up and opportunity to ask questions. Semi-annual appointments are appreciated. There are always questions to ask or changing health to monitor.

“I have been see Dr. Kesting for ...”

I have been see Dr. Kesting for about 6 years following a stroke/ seizure. He has never been pushy but has been persistent about the need for surgery. This year, he got through. After initially telling him I would continue on with a watch and wait approach, he said, "I hope you make the right decision." That line stuck with me. Within about 10 days, I contacted my neurosurgeon to get on the schedule.
