Dr Homewood was very factual, informative, comprehensive, and she talked me through several different decisions on care options. She was empathetic as I described the symptoms that challenge me. She had reviewed my medical history prior to the appointment and showed up with questions to ask to get a better understanding of my history and my goals moving forward which was awesome.

“I was scared going in to this be...”

I was scared going in to this because I've been dismissed several times before by providers. It's led me to preparing for battle a lot. But this felt nothing like that. I felt heard, health history I didn't think would be considered was taken in to account, I felt like my struggles were listened to and empathized with and I feel hopeful for the first time in 13 years. I would and do highly recommend Dr Laura Homewood.

Dr. Homewood was wonderful, and she is so clearly an asset to UVA. She took time to talk through all of the options with me in detail and answer all of my questions. I truly appreciate the way she listened to me and took my needs into consideration while recommending next steps for treatment. I would recommend Dr. Homewood to anyone seeking minimally invasive care. Thank you!!!
