I had been told several times that post heart attack there was no permanent damage to my heart. I had done an A.I., research and attributed the 1.52 to small airways disease. I was concerned that nobody had contacted me after the stress test to prescribe an ACE inhibitor. So Kimya and I discussed whether an ACE inhibitor should be prescribed. Dr Malhotra later sent me a message attributing the 1.52 to a scarred myocardium, not small airways, and that an ACE inhibitor would likely not be of any value in improving the 1.52 finding..
