I saw my dermatologist for a growth that concerned me as it wasn't the usual basal skin carcinoma. He shared his thoughts and agreed it was not my usual carcinoma. We agreed that a biopsy of both of the growths was the best course of action. The larger biopsy segment needed 2 stitches to close and I was informed of the treatment for the stitched area and was given an appointment to remove the stitches and to review the biopsy results.
