Our phone appt was at 2:30 pm. At 3:25 I called the office and they said they would let her know. When she finally called me, she did not apologize for being 1 hour late for our appt.

I saw a PA. She was harried and in a hurry. It was clear she had never looked at my chart before. She never referred to my labs or mentioned them and I got the impression she did not even look at them. She never referenced my pre-op exam with my Internist or cardiologist. I voiced apprehension about a spinal anesthetic and she told me that wasn't her job, only hips, and to ask the anesthesiologist. No empathy or compassion.

See above. Would like to have a follow up by the actual doctor and not the PA. I should not be charged anything for this appointment since the PA was unprepared and blew off the appointment and then was fairly dismissive about addressing my concerns and doing her job. Like the doc. Have mostly had very positive experiences w KJ docs. But some of the staff are really not doing their jobs and it's no fun to be a patient and deal w such chaos. There should be better training and better management of the staff. I've had a couple situations like this where the communication between staff has been poor at best.

Visit felt rushed. I drive over an hour to get there only to feel like no one has time for me. I felt more talked at than listened to.
