Dr. Trent-Mims graduated from the University of Maryland Medical School after earning an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. She completed her residency at Maryland General Hospital. Dr. Trent-Mims has been with Potomac Physicians since 1987. She believes that it is important to consider more than physical symptoms when treating an illness.
