“We had our visit with Dr. Cava y...”
We had our visit with Dr. Cava yesterday. I went to look at the after visit summary and nothing is filled out in there for me to reflect on and also share with my daughters father. He also said that if we come back in four weeks because the symptoms have not subsided that will be the time that we will "torture you". That is the language he used with my daughter. While I understand that he was joking, that is definitely not appropriate nor did he actually explain what would be happening at the next visit. It left my daughter feeling anxious about what may happen if we have to return in a few weeks. Overall, I don't feel great about how the appointment went. This is my second run in with a negative experience with Children's Hospital.
