I appreciated being able to get an appointment and found the doctor knowledgeable, but I left feeling uncomfortable and disappointed by parts of the interaction.When I mentioned I was weaning my three-year-old, the doctor visibly reacted with surprise in a way that felt judgmental and unprofessional. I understand not everyone is familiar with extended nursing, but I expected a more respectful bedside manner. Later, when I expressed a personal preference against petroleum products like Vaseline, and then casually mentioned getting pedicures, the doctor made a comment implying I was being inconsistent-and again, it came across as dismissive and unnecessarily critical.I believe medical professionals can offer guidance without making patients feel judged. Unfortunately, this visit didn't meet that standard for me.
