I didn't appreciate that. I was not warned in advance that I would need x-rays. Then when I went in and was ushered into the X-ray room, no one could tell me how much x-rays cost. Cost. Only that they bill insurance. When I logged into my United healthcare Blue book, I found that that Grand River was not recommended for x-rays due to the cost and the nurses seem surprised. They said they've never heard of the healthcare Blue book, which I find interesting because all School district employees are supposed to use it with our insurance plan.
