“A terrible outcome!”

After reading the previous entry, I feel compelled to respond. In February of 2007, Dr. Kaouk told me that he had performed "2000" prostatectomies. In fact he had performed less than 400 robotic prostatectomies. He claimed a 98% preservation of continence and to maintain potency. While performing my prostatectomy he perforated my small intestine and did not take me back to surgery until 48 hours later. “NOT BOARD CERTIFIED -- HORRIBLE OUTCOMES”

Dr Kaouk left me permanently injured and disabled from my minimally invasive surgery. In violation of my consent he allowed unsupervised residents to do much, if not all of my surgery. He telephoned my wife after my surgery reporting "getting stuck and having trouble" providing no details and never met with her or me after the surgery. UNDER INVESTIGATION -- Jihad Kaouk is currently under investigation by the state medical board of Ohio. He was denied a medical license in IA and, after 19 years, has not attained board certification. Outcomes by many of his surgical patients resulted in severe and permanent, even life threatening injuries. Dr kaouk helped develop robotic prostate and kidney surgery and got one of the largest experience in the field having done more than 1000 cases. most referrals come from patients as his results are some the best reported in the country
It is a shame to have the same person put incorrect negative reviews pretending it is from multiple patients.

“Cindy Greiner”

Kaouk was the donor doctor during my son's kidney transplant. He ripped the kidney out of the donor, injured her leaving her with muti-located lymphocele leaks and additional surgery. The result was that she is full of mesh and has lost her ability to have children. He then left her after the surgery to get another doctor, and denied everything.
