“Terrible”
My foster child was seeing Jessica when I got her, she had so many health problems I did not know what to do. I took her to my physician and found out the meds Jessica had her on caused her severe constipation where diarrhea bowel would leak around hardened bowel that would not come out, so she pooped on her self daily, her breast were lactating, her skin was terribly dry and she could barely hold her head up. After internet research I brought facts to Jessica and asked her to back off some of the meds, like a sleeping pill I'd have to wake her up to give her and a huge dose of abilify that was the cause of many of her problems. She got angry with me for questioning her and since I had already cut back the ability and sleeping meds, (her nurse allowed me to over the phone) I noticed my foster daughters irritability was getting much better she was not falling asleep all day and began to have normal bowel movements. So I began speaking with other parents that use Jessica for their kids and found out she regularly puts kids as young as 12 (that I know of) on antipsychotic medications and anti depressants that cause them to act just like my girl did, lifeless and sleepy, non functioning. She does not listen or care if you disagree with her, she simply gets angry if you question her. Very sad for a physician to act like this. Also after I stood up for my foster daughter, she reported ME to the agency I work for, and I had to answer for advocating for this child!
We are finding a diff med management physician as soon as possible.
