Dr. Burns took quite a bit of time with me as a new patient. She did a through exam, reviewed my mammogram, discussed and explained the pathology findings from the sterotactic biopsies, and we discussed options and next steps. She was very engaged and professional and never felt like we needed to rush so she could get to the next patient. I felt heard and respected with decisions being made as a team.

This was my first interaction with Dr. Burns and I was very impressed with her approach to me, as a new patient, as well as to planning my care. She was familiar with my test results upon entering the room and explained them very well. She was organized in her presentation of a plan of care and explained things in understandable terms, using diagrams and illustrations to help make sure I could follow what she was describing. Great interpersonal skills.
