I did not see my regular provider as he was gone. I hardly ever go to the clinic, therefore when I went it would have been a trigger that I clearly am not doing well. While I do understand that I'm sure I'm the hundredth person they've seen with the same issue they week as it is that season, the human side to help provide a better solution to my illness than just get sleep, food diet, and stay hydrated. Had I seen my normal provider, they would've known that I don't come in for minor things. They would have known how ill I was to even make an appointment. I understand that this new provider would not know my history of how I conduct myself during illness. He did an adequate job for that portion but I would have assumed a steroid shot or some sort of medicine could have helped alleviate my symptoms. With that being said, I was concerned that when I had mentioned some additional meloncholy and an overall sadness to the nurse, that it wasn't mentioned by the new provider at all. I know the nurse took thorough notes and was very sympathetic to this information. I was just puzzled by not a mention of this from the provider. Granted my issues are not serious pressing issues, however, I would have assumed a little a discussion to that issue would have been had. It gave me more appreciation to my regular provider. I would not choose this provider for in the future.
