I am used to seeing a different provider and I typically ask a variety of questions at my appointments. It seemed like Dr C and her care team were taken aback by my requests for additional information, which just seemed odd to me. Perhaps they're not used to patients advocating for themselves/ their own care? I've expressed at all of my previous appointments my desire for minimally invasive care; I view the responses I received to my questions as good information about the way that Dr C approaches pregnancy and childbirth, but from that I would have a hard time trusting her explicitly as my regular provider or in the birth space, knowing now that her typical approach seems to be the opposite of my preferences.
