We love Dr. Bachmann. She saw me when my daughter was hospitalized at Froedtert for a lung transplant in 1003 and I promptly changed my eye doctor to Dr. Bachmann permanently. I was seeing floaters in my eye for the first time and was not interested in having my doctor at that time see me for anything very serious. I knew if it was serious I was going to come to the Eye Institute. Dr. Bachmann saw me that day and I have been coming to her ever since and my husband also became her patient. She is VERY conscientious and very competent. We both like her a lot, much better than any other eye doctor I have ever seen.

Dr. Bauchman's explanations are easy to understand, she has provided me with a much more throrough understanding of my eye disease than my previous providers. She listened to a complaint I could not well verbalize and was able to discuss her exam finding that was causing this complaint. She proactively will address the impact my cataract is having on my vision - very tailored to my experience and perception of the problem. You can't get better than that.
