When I had more swelling and pain a few days after the surgery, Dr Hlavacek Was willing to see me immediately without an appointment. I came to the clinic, explained my pain to the receptionist. She advised Dr Hlavacek and he took me in immediately, Got x-rays, checked my wounds and assured me that everything was OK. Hair addressed all my concerns. When I had another problem with swelling and pain about a week later, he also took me in one day before my scheduled appointment to do the x-rays a day earlier and change my cast a day earlier, because I was in a lot of pain. Throughout this, he has been very compassionate and understanding and helpful.

I have the utmost respect for Dr. Hlavacek as he did an amazing job with my pelvic surgery, and although I was seeing him for a foot issue, he seemed very knowledgeable regarding the possibility of removing my hardware and also knew his limitations if any kind of fusion were to be necessary, which I appreciated. I always feel like I'm in good hands with him.
